WOMEN'S DAY

International Women's Day, originally called International Working Women's Day, is marked on March 8 every year.

Women on all continents, often divided by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their Day.
It is an occasion to review how far they have come in their struggle for equality, peace and development.
